Personality Dimensions® Workshop
Personality Dimensions® is a human relations tool based on leading-edge research into temperament and behaviour. It helps to explain what motivates people with different personalities. Presented in and informative, interactive, self-discovery format, this workshop can enhance self-esteem, dignity and self-worth. Through Personality Dimensions®, you can foster and deepen your understanding of self and others, develop the ability to communicate with and better understand people of all temperaments, and improve your relationships with family, friends and co-workers.

Emergency Management Ontario’s Basic Emergency Management Course (BEM)
This community-based course provides a detailed overview of emergency management, focusing on mitigation, prevention, preparedness, response and recovery, and can be customized to suit your local emergency training needs. Certificates will be issued by Emergency Management Ontario (EMO) to those participants who complete the course; this certification is the prerequisite for more advanced courses offered by EMO and the Canadian Emergency Preparedness College in Ottawa. Participants must attend all sessions and achieve a mark of 70% on the in-class work, paper exercise and final evaluation to receive certification in the BEM Course.
The following individuals should consider taking this course:
• members of your municipality’s Community Control Group (Mayor/Reeve, CAO, EIO, Clerk, Police Chief, Fire Chief, Public Works & alternates)
• municipal staff and others who will be part of the support or advisory groups in your community’s Emergency Operations Centre (department heads, administration, members of council, social service providers, volunteer managers)
• first responders & health care officials (police officers, firefighters, paramedics, DND, MLHU, hospital administrators)
• members of your community’s Emergency Management Program Committee
Course Details & Requirements:
• available to Municipalities in the province of Ontario
• 2 days needed, 9-4:30 daily
• minimum 10, maximum 36 people per course
• municipality to photocopy course materials and provide student binders, arranged with facilitator before the course
• facilitator fees, mileage and travel expenses are negotiable
